Red, Metal, Happy

Simplicity/ Happy and Red

1.How well did you follow the rule? I think I did okay representing happy and red with simplicity despite the darkness of the photo.
2.What is the subject (be very specific)? Ileen
3.Is it clear to people looking at your photos what the subject is? Yes because she is in the middle of the photo and she is the only thing in the picture, except a paper above her.
4.If you didn't follow the rule well, what could you have done differently? I could have straightened out the photo.

Lines/ Red and Metal

1.How well did you follow the rule? I think I did an okay job incorporating red and metal into a picture with lines around the subject.
2.What is the subject (be very specific)? Nicole
3.Is it clear to people looking at your photos what the subject is? Yes, it is a photo against lockers with one clear subject.
4.If you didn't follow the rule well, what could you have done differently? I could have gotten balance in the picture with the lockers if two people were acting as if they were opening them.

Red and Metal

1.How well did you follow the rule? I don't think I did good following any rule because it is just a picture of red, metal doors.
2.What is the subject (be very specific)? The doors
3.Is it clear to people looking at your photos what the subject is? Not really because the photo was taken off balance so not all four doors are the photo and they're the only subject.
4.If you didn't follow the rule well, what could you have done differently? I could have gotten a picture of just one door being opened by someone happy.

Feature Story Analysis

"I have a GOD given gift of voice, I'm an ex-radio announcer who has fallen on hard times  Please!
any help will be great-fully appreciated. Thank you and God bless you/Happy Holidays."

His appearance is what makes people around him think, "oh, he's just a homeless man.". He wears a tattered camouflage jacket and his hair is in resemblance to the hairstyle of Albert Einstein,
When Ted Williams speaks, his clear, deep voice is really what captivates the viewers. When the reporter first finds him they just see a man who is in hopes of receiving spare change for his voice. Ted Williams knows he has a gifted voice but he remains humble, not to mention homeless.
-he is rare
-he knows he is gifted
-he is seen as just another homeless man

2014 Year in Review

World Events- This list is about news that occurred in other places, with only one in the United States.
I chose the plane that went missing I found this one to be most important to me because the plane had Americans in it. (Malaysia Airlines Flight 370)

Celebrity News- This list consists of the Top 10 searched things in 2014, most of the list is celebrities. I chose Jennifer Lawrence out of the list because she was a part of many 2014 movies and was rewarded with many valuable awards.

Famous Deaths- This list shows all of the celebrity deaths this year that have left us saddened. I chose Robin Williams because he was such a influential figure to so many people that his suicide had a major impact.

Entertainment (Movies, Music, etc.)- This list is compiled of the top 40 2014 movies that also had cherish-able morals. I chose Big Hero 6 because there were many morals that came together and made the movie worth every minute.
Local News- This list has demonstrated through10 stories that our lives in Austin, Texas do matter. The  top story that I chose was the one on Colton Turner because it hit a very hard sentimental impact on all Austin residents.
Photos- This list is about many influential stories in 2014. Through a lot of that year the actions that were taken place in Ferguson spread like wildfire on social media.
My Choice- This list is all about technology because every year there is bigger and better electronics out there every month. I think the Samsung Galaxy S5 was the most important on this list because the size does not intimidate the owner and it works even better than its pasts versions.
